willi wagner studied architecture and art at the rheinmain university of applied sciences and the academy of fine arts in munich. he was invited as guest critic or lecturer at different universities like the leipzig university of applied sciences, the technical university of kaiserslautern and the accademia di architettura di mendrisio. since 2018 he lives and works in munich. since 2024 he has been a research associate at the chair of johanna meyer-grohbrügge at the technical university of darmstadt. in 2025 together with maribel a sengewald he founded their studio sengewald wagner.
